最著名的剪貼畫 MoMA

In the final years of his life, artist #HenriMatisse turned to scissors and painted paper to create something entirely new.

He cut shapes from vibrant sheets and arranged them into lively compositions, transforming his studio walls into immersive worlds of color.

🌊 After five years on view, see “The Swimming Pool” in its final months before this light-sensitive work is deinstalled for multiple years.

✂️ We’ve put together a special celebration of Matisse’s vibrant paper works just in time for the holiday season. From colorful book illustrations to a glowing stained-glass window on the theme of Christmas Eve.

See it all on view now at MoMA.
